Now
that you have created your own blog and used it through the previous eight
lessons, describe in detail how you will use your blogging
skills in your classroom.
I’d love to be able to use it to communicate with parents as
a “this is what we did in class” type of thing. However, this community is
quite poor and many families do not have computers or Internet. A blog for me
will probably be better served as a kind of storage center for games, links and
lesson plan ideas that I would want to use in the classroom. This way, I can
have all my online needs available in one place instead of having to look
things up. Another idea for a blog would be to use it as a central place for
ideas and communications with other teachers. As fellow teachers find cool
ideas, they can post it to the blog for all of us to share.
