While checking the feedback from my ads, I
realized that my keywords were too broad. There wasn’t any info, I had a few
clicks to the site but I think that it was from classmates looking at it and
not from actual customers. I read lots of good ideas from other classmates on
the discussion board and will see about being more specific in my keywords and
ads. Instead of just saying tools, I can say hammer or screwdriver and have my
ads focused on individual products more and not just the whole website. I think
I will rearrange my site as well so that it is sectioned into product types a
little more too. It means a lot more work but it should be good for the site
and the customers finding things on the site. Maybe putting something on there
like the Home Depot logo will work too.
Adwords Conversion Tracking code goes in the
footer section under SEO in Weebly. I haven’t had any information from that yet
either. I may need to put more money into the ad for it to really get going.
But I’m not willing to do that yet so it will just have to wait.
